HEMET: Jewelry store robbery took 9 seconds

It took only about nine seconds for four thieves to smash several display cases at a jewelry store in Hemet and make their escape Monday night, Jan. 28.
Hemet police say the robbers used a hammer to break into the cases at 6:37 p.m. They escaped in a getaway car waiting outside the Hemet Valley Mall.
