Firefighters rescued a woman whose SUV plunged down a rain-soaked freeway embankment during a single-vehicle crash in Redlands.

The wreck was reported about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, along the eastbound lanes of I-210 at San Bernardino Avenue.
