San Bernardino County Supervisor-elect James Ramos has chosen a Republican congressional staffer as his chief of staff.

The Board of Supervisors approved a contract Tuesday, Nov. 27 with Phil Paule, a French Valley resident and district director for Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Vista, to serve as Ramos’ top aide.
