A panel of jurors and four alternates were officially seated for the high-profile, Ponzi-type real estate and investment fraud trial of Hendrix Montecastro and his mother, Helen Pedrino, of Murrieta, mid-afternoon Tuesday, Nov. 27, after a process the state likened to a marathon.

Jury selection began Nov. 1.
