SAN JACINTO: Ex-councilman takes plea in corruption case

Former San Jacinto Council man and city Treasurer James W. Potts has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors, putting an end to a corruption trial that was just about to begin.
Potts, 70, was indicted three years ago in a case that alleged widespread corruption among City Council members and developers.
