BANNING: Jury gets toddler death case

A jury will soon decide the fate of a Banning man charged with fatally beating his 2-year-old stepson and leaving him uncared for, for two days.
Andrew Lee Payne, 24, is charged with first-degree murder, felony child abuse and two felony drug charges in the Nov. 11, 2011, killing of the boy, Robert Vorhees.
