Beaumont’s 43-41 victory against Yucaipa was a significant one for the program and a bittersweet one for Cougar assistant Jamie Ramirez.

The Cougars, down by 14 points in each half, rallied to tie and then won in triple overtime on a 1-yard run by Joe Jeffers and a two-point conversion toss from Josh Martin to Sam Roberts.
