REAL ESTATE: Murrieta couple sentenced for mortgage fraud

A Murrieta husband and wife were sentenced to prison terms this week for their role in a mortgage fraud scheme that saw them take equity out of Inland homeowners’ property and bilk victims out of more than $ 1 million, the IRS said in a statement released late Friday, Sept. 21.
