Nicole Smith is so close, she almost can’t bear to think about it.

Following a tie for fifth at last week’s Symetra Classic, the Riverside King grad is eighth on the Symetra Tour’s money list with $ 31,350. The top 10 earners at the end of the season earn their LPGA Tour cards — and just two events remain.
