UPDATE: Firefighters stop small brushfire

Firefighters had stopped the forward progress of a brushfire burning near Perris at 10 acres Sunday evening, Sept. 16.
The fire was 30 percent contained as of 4:30 p.m., and CalFire/Riverside County fire officials believed they would have firefighters on the scene for five to six hours.
