CORONA: Witness says boy thought he was going to die

A police detective testified Friday, Sept. 14, that a 13-year-old boy told him that he thought he was going to die when two men forced him to dig a 2-foot-deep hole in the Barstow desert and kicked and punched him when he tried to climb out.
