TEMECULA: Olympic medalist welcomed back to her hometown

As Olympic cyclist and hometown hero Sarah Hammer walked slowly into Temecula’s Civic Center on Tuesday, Aug. 21, loud applause and chants of “USA” greeted her.

It was a welcome home party for the two-time Olympic medalist who first eyed a spot on the world stage while riding her bike in Temecula.
