LinkURealty Creates Transition Team to Assist Displaced Myers Website Customers
Riverside California News Press Release
Riverside, CA (PRWEB) May 18, 2012
According to the MGIC website, the company announced sometime in September of 2011 that they would eventually discontinue the websites, stating that “eMagic and Myers are no longer in line with MGIC’s corporate strategy. The market has changed, rendering the platforms inconsistent with our current business model. Therefore, we decided to stop supporting the services.”
MGIC informed their customers a few days ago that, “All Myers services you use today will continue to be available until Sept. 1, 2012. Please use the time between now and then to transition to a new platform for services that will no longer be provided.”
Since the announcement, Myers Internet customers have been contacting real estate website companies inquiring about their services and transferring service. One of those companies was LinkURealty.
Wesley Rocha, of LinkURealty said, “It’s the last thing an agent or broker wants to deal with and stress over. Now they have to set time aside to research web companies, pay additional setup fess and spend time re-setting up their website within a few months. We want to make this as easy and affordable as a transition as possible.” As a result, LinkURealty decided to setup a special program to assist Myers Internet clients in transitioning their existing. LinkURealty will handle everything and ensure their website and its contents are transferred over prior to the September 1st deadline. Since LinkURealty will completely plan, manage and coordinate the transition, this removes the stress and planning from the real estate agents and brokers.
LinkURealty has been providing real estate website solutions since 2003 and has grown very quickly over the last few years. In an effort to better assist these customers, LinkURealty has made attempts to contact MGIC about acquiring Myers Internet and/or their clients, but have not had any response as of yet. Instead LinkURealty will attempt to reach these customers by phone and e-mail to assist them in transferring over their websites.
Wesley states, “The last thing you want to do is wait until the last minute to start the process. September will be here before you know it and you don’t want to lose everything on your site and have to start from scratch.” He urges existing Myers customers to contact one of their specialist to get their transition started ASAP and ensure your site is completely transferred and online before the September 1st deadline.
